About Jenniffer Hendricks

Hi! My name is Jenniffer Hendricks. I was born in Memphis, Tennessee . When I was six, my parents moved our family to OKC and then to Caddo, OK. My mother was a teacher and my father is a Chiropractor in Durant, OK.

I attended Caddo Public Schools  and was raised in the Methodist Church there.  I graduated in 1981 from Caddo High School.  I knew in elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher, so after graduation I enrolled  in college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant.  After completing the requirements for graduation there in 1987, I married and raised two daughters, Elizabeth and Jacqueline. Liz graduated from Silo in 2007 and is attending  Southeastern to pursue a teaching degree (it's becoming a family tradition I guess). She is a wonderful person and loves to help others. Jacqueline is a senior in high school  at Silo. She is active in softball, basketball,FCCLA, loves animals, and has a very tender heart.

I did my student teaching at Silo Elementary School and was later hired as a teacher. While teaching and raising my children, I attended Southeastern and completed  my Master's Degree in 1998. This is my 25th year at Silo and I consider it a privilege to work here.
