Jim Coleman and Kevin Wingfield surprised Silo’s DeLaney Phelan by telling her she was one of 2 students from SEC to get to attend the Oklahoma Youth Tour!  Each year, the Southeastern Electric Cooperative, Inc. sends two 11th grade students to Washington, D.C. for a week long, ALL EXPENSE PAID, trip!  It is called Oklahoma Youth Tour.   The chosen students will go along with OAEC (Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives) and approximately 70 other Oklahoma high school Juniors for the entire week in June. The students competing for this honor had to create a 3-4-minute multimedia presentation covering the topic of “What Makes A Co-op Unique?”  Youth Tour is scheduled for June 17-23.
