                          Family 2021

Education/Experience:

As a proud 1990 graduate of Silo High School, I am honored to have the opportunity to “give back” to my alma mater.  Since graduating from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in 2001, I obtained my Master’s Degree as a Library Media Specialist from East Central University in 2007.  I have had twenty years teaching experience in third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and sixth grade.  This year I am beginning a new journey teaching Special Education Math for third, fourth, and fifth grade!

Family:

I am married to Stacy, my high school sweetheart. Stacy is a Durant Firefighter.  We are blessed with three wonderful children...Brandon, Jimmy, and Logan.  Brandon is a taxidermist and has two beautiful daughters, Amelia and Aiya, and a sweet boy, Breckon.  We have a wonderful daughter- in- law, Adree, whom works as an aide in Silo Early Childhood.  Brandon and Adree has a taxidermy business, BA Wildlife Studio!  Jimmy has his own business, Transform Visuals, as a photographer/videographer.  Logan is an aide in Silo Early Childhood and has two boys, Riggin and Sawyer.  We have an awesome son-in-law, Marcus, whom works in the oilfield.  Also, we have a little one that we keep quite often and her name is Haylor.  We love them all very much!

Philosophy:

All children can achieve, if we (teachers, students, parents, and patrons) all believe! Every individual should strive to make a better tomorrow for our world, country, community, and themselves. I am teaching my children/students the importance of being productive citizens through modeling what I feel will be beneficial for our future. I believe my dedication to the teaching profession will produce active, responsible, trustworthy, and caring citizens who are ready to meet life's challenges in whatever path they choose.
