Job Summary:
The Special Education Teacher will work with students with diverse learning needs, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curricula to meet the needs of each student. This role requires collaboration with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a supportive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices in the classroom.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.
• Will have few duties within the school day but nothing after school or the weekends
