Silo Public Schools

On Wednesday, April 24th the Silo FFA Speech Team traveled to Murray State College in Tishomingo for the FFA Regional Speech Contest.  Silo had the most students of any school (10) qualify for the Area contest on Monday, April 29th.  If they get 1st or 2nd at Area, they will advance to the State Contest!  Those competing at the Regional Contest were:

Shaylee Davis- 1st Place in 8th/9th Grade FFA Opportunities 

Brooke Smith- 1st Place FFA Creed & 2nd Place in 8th/9th Grade FFA Opportunities 

Lucas Rezner- 1st Place in Animal Science 

Isabella Whitlock- 1st Place in Natural Resources, 1st Place in Plant Science, 2nd Place in Ag Policy, & 4th Place in Extemp 

Keleigh Caldwell- 1st Place in Agriscience 

Anna Mauck- 2nd Place in 8th Grade Ag Explorations 

Claycey Rowland- 2nd in Agriscience & 3rd in Natural Resources 

Kyleigh Eppler- 3rd in 8-9-10th Grade General Ag & 3rd in Agribusiness 

Summer Christopher- 4th Place in 8-9-10th Grade General Ag 

Denver McBride- 3rd in Plant Science & also spoke in 8-9-10th Grade General Ag 

Olivia Clark- 4th in Ag Policy 

Dayla Connors- 5th Place in Ag Policy 

Attisyn Knight- 5th Place in Agribusienss
